Adam Condit's Philosophy on doing hard things
"In 2008, Adam Condit was working in his dream job. Or what he thought was his dream job. He had just graduated from UW-Madison with a master's degree in engineering, and landed the oh-so-coveted “big boy job”. Ten years later, Condit abandoned his job and opened a running store in Eau Claire, with no previous business experience."
A city at risk: alcohol's toll on eau claire
Stories like Wergeland’s are not uncommon within the Eau Claire community Wergelands experience is just one small example of the negative effects caused by the drinking culture in Eau Claire. When it comes to incidents involving drinking, the City of Eau Claire is among the worst in the nation. For context, Eau Claire County was recently named the second-highest county in America in terms of adults who consistently overindulge in alcohol, according to datapanda.org."
